Big Pharma: Just the Facts
Are we not clear on WHY pot is illegal? Let’s recap. Over 2 BILLION dollars per year pays for jobs (law enforcement primarily) that exist for the sole purpose of stopping marijuana use. The politicians who can change this would be crucified if they cut these jobs, but they COULD redirect the jobs toward hard drugs or other valid concerns. So why not? Because they are lobbied heavily and successfully by corporate interests (i.e. they get PAYOFFS under various guises), most notably from Big Pharma.
